Parent- Child mod by PERSEA

Hey Simmers, I'm so excited to share the new addon update of the Parent-child mod I fixed the issues that everyone reported and added more to the game to make it more exciting to play and to enrich the storytelling experience.

Everything starts when the parent starts dating, and mentions their child in a joke to see the partner's reaction

This interaction will unlock a new pie menu that allows your sim to discuss being a single parent more in-depth

this pie menu will only show up for boyfriend and girlfriend, if your sim is still single even if they have a strong romantic relationship with a sim, this won't show up A few examples of moodlets:

this interaction only shows up when your sim is engaged or married to the sim here are just a couple of moodlets (more in-game):

the new partner will have their own pie menu where they can express a lack of attention, bad experiences with the child, and more realistic questions about your sim's ex:

This pie menu will only be available to Sims who already spoke about their child to the new partner and will only pop up to their best friend only ( no family members )

Now once the single parent feels ready to discuss having a new partner with their child, they have this option available under the Friendly pie menu:

this will enable new interactions for the child with their other parents (if there are any), with the step-parent, and with the step-sibling if applicable.

A few moodlets:

this will show up to the child when they are having a conversation with their parent"

they will be sad, uncomfortable, and stressed as knowing your parent in real life are dating might be shocking to some children

They will try their best to make their parents feel guilty change their minds and break up with their new partner

This interaction will be available to the child with the step-parent and they will decide by themself whether they like or hate them once the moodlet is removed (few examples of moodlets):

If the child decides to like the step-parent they will unlock this new pie menu:

If the child decides to dislike the step-parent then this moodlet will be available

If you change your mind and want to stop the war between the child and their step-parent then you can choose this interaction "Express Regret" and all of the hate once will be removed automatically and have a fresh restart

On the other hand, the step-parent will have a pie menu with the child as realistically, step-parent try harder for children that don't accept them If the step-parent has a child and you moved them with their parents to your current family, the child and step-child will have their own pie menu You can create your own story and decide to become friends or enemies, either befriending each other or continuing to fight.

Some moodlets:

You can always apologize because neither of the children wanted their parents to date. If your child's other parent is still around, you can let them know about your parent's (their ex) new relationship

that will unlock to your child with their other parent a new conversation:

and if you still can play with the other parent you can be nosy and ask your child about their parent's relationship

Finally, this interaction will remove all of this drama if the parent decides to choose their child over the partner (you definitely can start over) you can use it on your child, your partner, ex, or stepchild.

the interaction will last as long as your sim has the moodlet, which means you have enough time to inform the rest of the concerned sim such as your stepchild, your child, your ex, and your partner.
